Terms of Service

WEB HOSTING REQUIREMENT:
The $174 website fee is more than a 40% discount off of our regular price, and this discounted price is only available to customers who host their website with The Home Business People, Inc. for at least 12 months. If you do not wish to host your website with The Home Business People, Inc. for at least 12 months, then the website fee will be the full price of $299. There is no web hosting time commitment with your website purchase. You may cancel your web hosting account at any time. However, you must host your website with The Home Business People, Inc. for 12 months before you can take your website files. If you wish to take your website and host it elsewhere, before you have hosted the site with us for 12 months, you must pay the full price of $299 for your website.

REFUNDS ON WEBSITES: There are absolutely no refunds given on the $174 website fee after your website has been created. A website is considered created after you have provided The Home Business People, Inc. with information for the website, and the website is published to the Internet. You may request a refund for your website purchase within 30 days of your order if you have not provided The Home Business People, Inc. with the information to create your website. There are no refunds given after 30 days, but you will be given a credit in the amount of your website order which you can use for a future website design or web hosting service.

REFUNDS ON CONTENT ARTICLES: There are absolutely no refunds given on Content Articles after your Content Articles pages have been created. Content Article pages are considered created after you have provided The Home Business People, Inc. with your choice of article(s), and the Content Articles have been added to your website and published to the Internet.

REFUNDS ON WEB HOSTING: There are absolutely no refunds given on unused portions of prepaid web hosting after payment has been made.

AUDIO SERVICE: Our audio service is only available on websites hosted by The Home Business People, Inc. The audio service we provide uses our bandwidth, and we incur costs each time an audio is played. Our audio service is not included on websites that are purchased outright. In addition, if you have a website with existing audio on it, and you choose to take your site and host it elsewhere after hosting with us for at least 12 months, all of the audio files must be removed.

CONTENT ARTICLES: The Home Business People, Inc. holds the Copyright to all standard Content Articles sold on this website. These Content Articles are only made available for use on websites created and hosted by The Home Business People, Inc. At no time may any Content Article be reproduced or used on any other website or for any other purpose.

ADDITIONAL FEES FOR WEBSITE CHANGES AND UPDATES: The purchase of your website as well as your monthly hosting and maintenance fee includes unlimited changes and updates to the text on both the "Home" page and the "Thank You" page of your website. Any additional pages or other changes and updates will be billed at our regular hourly rate.

The purchase of your website as well as your monthly hosting and maintenance fee also includes up to 10 pictures with captions for your website. You can have additional pictures on your website, but there is a one-time charge of $2 for each additional picture you send us after the first 10*.

*Please note that you are not being charged for the number of pictures on your website, but rather the number of pictures we work on for you. Replacing old pictures on your website with new pictures is the same as adding new pictures. For example, if you have 10 pictures on your website, and you want to replace 3 of them with new pictures, there will be a $6 charge for the 3 new pictures you are adding.

OUTSIDE WEBSITE CHANGES AND UPDATES: The Home Business People, Inc. will charge their regular hourly fee if asked to repair any mistakes made to a website from updates not made by The Home Business People, Inc. design staff.
