First, we will start off by saying that you can alter the text in any way that you would like. The content that is there can just be used as a starting point.

However, the sites are designed to capture the name and contact info of those individuals who are looking for a business opportunity. It is our opinion based on experience that giving too many specifics right off the bat is a negative.

Use these websites as they were designed: Use them to generate the name and contact info of qualified leads. And then follow up with those leads when you can control the setting - when you can answer any questions or concerns that they may have... when you can take the opportunity to convert them into BUSINESS PARTNERS.

Q: Why isn't my company website good enough?

Have you ever heard of INFORMATION OVERLOAD? This is just one of the problems with company-generated or other replicated websites. Company sites provide too much information too quickly for a first-time visitor. And most importantly, you do not have a way to capture a prospect's contact information! When a visitor comes to your company site, they are forced to either make a purchase on the spot, or they leave and are gone forever. Steering people to your company site is not a great way to spend your advertising efforts.

If you use a prospecting website on the other hand, you can introduce your prospect to the CONCEPT of changing their lives with a home-based business. You give them an opportunity to leave their contact information to receive additional information. Then, you can follow up with them to convert the sale!

Last, a prospecting website allows you to leave your own personal stamp with a prospect more than a company replicated site will ever allow you to do. Take the opportunity to introduce yourself to your prospect and let them know that you are there to help.

Q: Do you recommend that I include my own story and pictures?

We have many people who just use the websites "as is" - meaning they do not customize the site by adding any personal information aside from their name, phone number, and email address.

It is our opinion, though, that you should do everything you can to separate yourself from the other business opportunity websites out there by adding a "face" to your website. Show someone that you are a real, living, breathing human being who is there to guide and help them down the road to financial freedom.

Q: If I want to add my personal story and pictures to the website, how do I do that?

You can email us your story and pictures to info@thehomebusinesspeople.com. You can include up to 10 of your own personal pictures at no additional charge. Feel free to email us captions for your pictures as well. All pictures over the 10 that are included are $2 each.

Q: How does the audio service work?

After you order, you will be sent an email that gives you a phone number to call to record your own audio message. It is as simple as that!

Once you call in and record your message, our design team will take the message and convert it into an image at your website where your visitors can click a play button to listen to your words (a play/pause/stop button similar to the one that you see at the top of this webpage where Doug is giving an audio introduction to our website service!)

Q: Can I use my own domain name?

YES! This is one of the benefits of having your own website. It is at your very own domain name - it's not just an extension off of another domain name like all replicated sites are. You can register a domain name for approx just $9 / year at places like godaddy.com.

Q: What other benefits do I receive?

As part of your monthly hosting fee ($25 with audio), we will make text edits to your site at no additional charge. If you want to change out text we will take care of it for you on an ongoing basis.

You also have unlimited email addresses at your domain name! For example, you can have info@yourdomainname.com, or yourname@yourdomainname.com!

We also provide you with website statistics - see how many visitors are coming to your site, and where they are coming from.

Please Note: This monthly fee includes more than just hosting of your website. It includes text changes and audio service as well as we mention above. If you choose not to pay the monthly fee, the website cost will be $299 instead. We will email you your website files, you will be responsible to add your own webforms, and the audio service will not be included).
